MAKE A BLIND FOR YOUR OWN HOME

30th & 31st October  2025

 9.30am - 4pm

Max 4 attendees 

This class will be held at the Horsehair and hessian workshop Nr Bury St Edmunds 

All blind making materials included except main fabric trim (if desired) and rail 

Maximum sized blind 90 x 120 cm

In this class you will be making a professionally finished interlined blind for your own home

You just need to bring your main fabric ( and a trim if you’d like to add one along the bottom edge )

and everything else apart from the head rail is included

A head rail can be purchased from the workshop if required

Don't forget to bring the measurements for the finished blind you’d like to make

The class will be small with a maximum of 4 people. This is to allow each attendee to benefit from lots of attention and the opportunity to really learn as much as possible. All current legal requirements regarding blind making and installation will be covered in class.

Kim has been making curtains and blinds for well over 30 years to an incredibly high standard. A professional finish to a blind can make all the difference to the hang and look of it. This is something that is hard to achieve without hands on tuition. Once you have completed the blind you will go away with the skills needed to complete many more hand sewn blinds, which you can use time and time again.
