2 Day Curtain Making class 26th & 27th May

The class will be held in the Horsehair & Hessian workshop nr Bury St Edmunds on

26th & 27th May 2026

9.30 am - 4 pm

The class is limited to 5 people to ensure everyone gets plenty of help

In this class you will learn how to make beautiful interlined hand pleated curtains Giving a truly luxurious feel and finished to a professional standard Whether you want to make curtains for you own home or start your own business this course will take your curtain making skills to the next level 

In a friendly and relaxed workshop with very small groups 

You will be making a small sample curtain with either a fan edge trim or contrast leading edge, measuring approximately 60cm x 80cm All the materials are included on this course 

You will be shown how to pattern match and join widths

Learn how to measure and cut fabric correctly 

Discuss fabrics, linings, interlinings and different types of headings 

We will also cover how to measure windows correctly.
