Curtain Making Class 27th November 2025

The class will be held in the Horsehair & Hessian workshop Tostock Bury St Edmunds on

27th November

9.30 am - 4.30 pm

The class will be limited to 5 people to ensure everyone gets lots of personal tuition. 

If you’ve ever wanted to make your own curtains this is the class for you 🌸

In this class you will learn how to…

Make a sample lined curtain, approx 50 x 80cm, with pencil heading tape or cottage heading 

Discuss fabrics, linings and poles and which heading tape to use

How to measure and calculate fabric quantities using pattern repeat.

Pattern match seams

How to mitre the corners, put weights in, create hems and how to attach heading tape with a cord tidy

Learn how to hang and professionally dress your finished curtain
